A group of woke communist women can call conservatives and President Trump supporters fascists, during a Jane Fonda event trying to compete with the UFC and many on the woke left celebrate and defend it. They mean it.
A UFC fighter, playing a character with a split-personality gimmick, calls former First Lady Michelle Obama a man, and suddenly those same anti-conservative voices want heads to roll over the comment.
I don’t agree with either.
What I do find astounding is the hypocrisy. Many of the political woke left communist routinely call President Donald Trump Hitler, a Nazi, a racist, and a pedophile without facts or evidence. They’re not playing a character. They’re making serious accusations and expecting them to be accepted as truth without any proof or facts.
And where was this same outrage when naked photos of First Lady Melania Trump were repeatedly circulated, mocked, and used for political attacks? Respect and dignity shouldn’t depend on political affiliation. If offensive comments and personal attacks are unacceptable, that standard should apply to everyone.
The constant demonization of political opponents is dangerous. It fuels division, hostility, and extremism. After years of this rhetoric, we’ve even seen multiple assassination attempts against President Trump, not to mention attempts to kill Republican Senators during a softball game.
So spare us the selective outrage. If inflammatory language, personal attacks, and public humiliation are wrong, then they should be wrong regardless of who is saying it or who the target is.
